Romania has fewer and fewer job openings. Nearly 5,000 jobs have disappeared in one year
The number of job openings in Romania fell to 26,500 in the second quarter of 2026, 1,800 fewer than in the first three months of the year and 4,900 below the level from the same period last year, according to data published by the National Institute of Statistics.
