The coup plot trial, with Horațiu Potra and Călin Georgescu among the defendants, can proceed
The High Court of Cassation and Justice (ÎCCJ) rejected the appeals filed by both the Public Prosecutor’s Office and the defendants during the preliminary hearing in the case against Călin Georgescu, upholding the ruling previously issued by the Bucharest Court of Appeals. The trial may now begin.
